EXIF / Metadata Remover
Photos quietly carry EXIF metadata — the camera model, settings, timestamps, and often the exact GPS coordinates where the shot was taken. Sharing a photo can leak your home address. This tool removes that data before you post.
How it works
- Choose one or more images.
- For JPEGs, the EXIF/XMP/IPTC and comment segments are removed by rewriting the file structure — lossless, so your pixels and image quality are untouched. The tool reports how many metadata segments it removed.
- For PNG/WebP, the image is re-encoded to drop embedded metadata.
- Download the cleaned copies (named
…-noexif).
Privacy
Stripping runs entirely in your browser — your photos are never uploaded to any server.
