The Guide Hub is the index for every Spellkit tool. Each tool has its own page with the tool itself at the top and, below it, a written guide: what the tool does, how to use it step by step, the gotchas worth knowing, and a short FAQ. Start here when you're not sure which tool fits your task, or when you want to understand a tool before you use it.

How the guides are organized

Every live tool has a matching guide, so browsing the hub is the fastest way to see the whole toolbox in one place — image editing (resize, rotate, compress, convert, background removal), PDF tools (to-image, merge/split, compress, password), developer utilities (UUID, JSON, Base64, regex, JWT), generators (QR codes, favicons, sprite sheets), calculators, and text tools. Each guide is deliberately specific to its tool rather than a generic template, so the tips and warnings actually apply to what you're doing.

Which tools touch a server, and which don't

This is the thing most people want to know, so it's worth being precise. The large majority of Spellkit tools run entirely in your browser — image, PDF, audio, video, and text tools all process your files on your own device using browser APIs (Canvas, WebAssembly, Web Audio), so nothing you open is uploaded. That's why there's no server-imposed file-size limit on them: the ceiling is your device's memory.

A small number of tools have to send something to work, and each guide says so plainly. The URL Shortener stores the original and short link so the redirect works. The Meeting Point Finder sends the stations you enter to a transit-routing service to compute real travel times. The YouTube tools fetch by video ID. Apart from those clearly-labeled cases, your data stays local.

Finding the right tool

If you're not sure a task even has a tool, the hub is faster than searching. The lineup skews toward the jobs people repeatedly hit a wall on: converting one file format to another (HEIC to JPG, PDF to image, PNG to WebP), hitting an exact upload size (compress to 100 KB, resize by pixel dimensions), and quick developer chores (decode a JWT, format JSON, test a regex, generate UUIDs). Where two tools overlap, the guides point you to the right one — for example, the focused JPG-to-PNG converter versus the full Image Converter with a quality slider, or the one-click Compress-to-100KB versus the general Image Compressor with selectable targets.

Languages

The guides and tools are available in 26 languages, from English and 한국어 to Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Arabic, Hindi, Vietnamese, Swahili, and more, with a language switcher on every page. The interface direction adjusts automatically for right-to-left languages like Arabic.
