Meeting Point Finder (Korea)
When a group needs to meet, this finds the fairest subway station — based on actual line and transfer travel time, not straight-line distance.
How to use
- Enter start stations — each person's starting subway station (autocompletes from the list). Up to 10 people.
- Click Find the meeting point.
- Recommended stations appear, ranked. Each shows per-person time and transfers, the number of lines, and whether it's a lively area.
How it ranks
- Fairness first — it minimizes the worst-off person's time and the spread across everyone, and penalizes routes with many transfers.
- Skips dead stations — transfer hubs and popular districts get a bonus, so it prefers stations worth meeting at over empty ones.
- E.g. 청량리 ↔ 가양 → roughly 용산 (Yongsan).
Tap any recommended station to see each person's route (lines, transfers, station order); the Directions in Kakao Map button next to it opens that person's real transit route (start → meeting station) in Kakao Map.
