How to combine two photos side by side

This tool is a small image editor, not a one-click stitcher. Every image you add becomes a movable layer on a shared canvas, so you can build before/after comparisons, product line-ups, or loose collages exactly the way you want them — then export the whole arrangement as one PNG.

Add and arrange

Adding images drops them onto the canvas in a side-by-side row to start. From there you have three ways to position them:

Tips and limits

The blue selection outline only appears once there are two or more layers, since there's nothing to arrange with a single image.
Resizing always scales from the image's original resolution, so nudging the slider back and forth won't degrade quality the way repeated re-saving would.
The smallest a layer can shrink to is 16 pixels, which stops an image from vanishing off the canvas by accident.
The white fill means the exported PNG is opaque, not transparent — worth knowing if you were counting on a see-through background.
