Does this tool build the survey itself?

No — it's a launcher, not a form builder. Three buttons open Google Forms in a new tab: a blank form via the forms.new shortcut, the template gallery, or a Sheets-linked form. The actual survey is created and owned inside your Google account.

Where do the responses go and how do I read them?

Responses collect on the form's Responses tab, which shows automatic summary charts. Click the Sheets icon there to pipe every submission into a linked Google Sheet as one row each, or download the raw data as a CSV for your own analysis.

Do people need a Google account to answer?

Not usually — anyone with the link can respond in their browser. The exception is if you enable 'Limit to 1 response,' which forces respondents to sign in with a Google account. You, as the form's creator, always need a Google account.

Building and sharing the form

When it's ready, hit Send and share the link in a chat or email, embed it on a page, or post it anywhere; anyone with the link can respond in their browser, no account needed on their end.

Settings worth knowing before you send
